Crying might impair her functions, and eating might disrupt her operations. Fortunately, she doesn't need food, and she doesn't have tears at all.

How could a robot possibly have human emotions? She was astonished that her lovesick husband had made a robot identical to the woman he loved, in an attempt to save a love that had died. She secretly pitied him, for he could only seek love from a robot whose every thought had been programmed. She mocked herself, too, for selling herself into such an absurd marriage just because she'd fallen so deeply under his tender gaze, even though he looked at someone else...

In the end, even his tenderness made her heart ache. How wonderful it would have been not to know about his consuming love for another woman. She mourned her own love, then unexpectedly discovered a shocking truth. She couldn't believe what her eyes were seeing...

A duet of romance and science fiction. When the most complex technology meets the purest emotions, how long can we love?

I am Robot No. 3.

I love you.
