Transmigrate Into Fushigi Yuugi: Am I Chichiri?

I probably watched the anime The Mysterious Play back in middle school. I was baffled by so many handsome guys falling for one unimpressive heroine?? The protagonist of this story by someone-or-other is a 25-year-old American man of Chinese descent. He's a firefighter who looks a lot like Keanu Reeves and leads a quiet life in Manhattan. But one day, his soul is summoned to the world of The Mysterious Play, where he becomes Tamahome. This story won't put Miaka through the wringer, because she basically doesn't appear in it? This is a danmei story. If that premise isn't for you, please move along. As with my previous stories, if you don't like it, don't read it. Malicious criticism and attacks are not welcome!!!! Those who like Chiriko or Hotohori should also be cautious: they aren't the focus of this story! Anyone who dislikes Nakago should be cautious too, because he is the focus!! I've made myself perfectly clear. I don't mind if that means fewer readers, but I don't want anyone to feel they've been duped after reading it!! It's free, but writing it still takes a lot of effort, so please respect other people's hard work My writing has always been "unconventional," both in plot and characterization. A lot of people just can't accept it, so please think carefully before reading!!!!!!!!!! The version posted now is a rewrite, told in first person, so it will differ from the earlier version. I'm not planning to continue with Part Two, so please understand Theme:
