Witchblade and the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber

The American comic Witchblade, created by Marc Silvestri and David Wohl, is set in a world where many ancient divine weapons existed before humanity. Witchblade is one of them. It is genderless and powerful, but only certain women can wield it. Many remarkable women have achieved astonishing feats with its power, including Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, and Florence Nightingale. The comic mentions that it once had a bearer in China's Tang Dynasty, referred to as a Witchblade wielder. A certain star suspects it was Wu Zetian. After changing hands many times, the Witchblade eventually fell into the hands of Kublai Khan, then Marco Polo brought it back to Europe. In this story, decades after Marco Polo brought the Witchblade back to Europe, it returns to China during the final years of the Yuan Dynasty, the setting of The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber. The Witchblade passes through many hands before ending up with Zhou Zhiruo. That's right: behind this astonishing premise is a rather unusual Zhou Zhiruo fanfiction. This Zhou Zhiruo does not transmigrate or get reborn. With the Witchblade's help, she changes her fate! As for Zhang Wuji and the others, we'll see. Also, I haven't finished reading the original The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber, and I don't remember much of it. All I have in my head are some hazy plot points from the version starring Kathy Chow. So this story is purely for my own amusement. Feel free to read it if you're interested, but please don't argue with me about the original's plot, characters, and so on. I honestly don't remember...
