The Game of Power

Heroes rise on every side, the realm falls into conflict, and the flames of war sweep across the continent. A new age of chaos has begun. Later generations have always described this period of history in a tender, romantic light: the sorrowful, peerless Duchess; the breathtaking beauty of Xingyue; three iron-willed women who fought through the troubled times; and the love and hatred entangled with theirs… But what did they truly think, living through those chaotic times? Looking back, perhaps all of it was nothing more than a dream, too long and too sad. The past cannot be reclaimed. No amount of tears can bring back those who have passed away. When you wake from the dream, who will be beside you, watching? Who will reach out to warm your cold hands? Who will ride alongside you? This story uses multiple protagonists and points of view. Although it is fantasy, it will not feature much magic; magic here is more like medieval witchcraft. This work is a tribute to A Song of Ice and Fire!
