Tragic, superhuman foreign top × Sunny, protective, energetic bottom
Post-apocalypse / Road trip / Ensemble cast / Slow burn / Equally matched leads / Happy ending
In the tenth year after the rails went dead, Jiang Deng nearly lost an eye beside the wall of Shelter Three.
At the same time, he found a note.
It contained just one sentence:
"If you want to stay alive, go to District Twelve."
Ten years ago, the Terminal Train, a symbol of survival, departed.
Ten years later, the shelter walls were no longer secure.
Jiang Deng decided to leave, heading north along the abandoned tracks in search of District Twelve, said to be the safest and most mysterious place around.
Not long after setting out, he met a drifter with the codename "Wild Man."
Drifters were not under the jurisdiction of any shelter and were never welcome among shelter residents.
Yet this one was the only drifter who filled everyone with fear.
The man had no fixed abode, and no one knew where he came from.
Everyone said he was dangerous and told Jiang Deng to stay away from him.
His companions jokingly called him a heartless lizard, the most cold-blooded man alive.
Jiang Deng couldn't agree more.
It wasn't until later that he discovered...
The note that had changed his life seemed to have countless ties to this "Wild Man."
As for Elias Field, who later appeared before Jiang Deng...
"You can call me Elia," said Elias Field with a smile. His eyes were gray-blue, and his hair was pale gold. "My mother likes to call me that."
He was a foreigner, yet spoke their common tongue fluently.
Jiang Deng was wary of Elia, but had no choice but to rely on his superhuman physique.
To protect his family, he even reached a certain "agreement" with Elia.
At night.
"Elia," Jiang Deng complained quietly. "Let's stop here for today."
"Mm."
Elia answered softly, but the hand reaching around from behind didn't stop at all. His body was scorching hot, like a steamer, and Jiang Deng felt as if he were burning all over.
Who on earth had called him cold-blooded?
Jiang Deng turned around in frustration and glared at him.
"It's your duty," Elia said.
"That's right," Jiang Deng said with a sweet smile. "Then remember to look after the children tomorrow..."
He felt Elia's hand pause, then continued:
"...that's your duty too."
[Reading Tips]
1. Main character is the bottom; one-on-one romance; happy ending; slow-burn relationship.
2. Post-apocalyptic road story with an ensemble cast. The main couple is clear, and supporting characters have full backstories, which will appear in extras or on Weibo.
3. The top is not a conventionally moral character. Early on, he has limited empathy and poor awareness of boundaries, and there will be coercive behavior.
4. Contains potentially disturbing content, including monsters, death, injuries, and gore.
5. Updates daily; if anything comes up, I'll post a leave notice. (I have a backlog of chapters ^ ^)
Theme: Love means giving each other the freedom to choose
