On the Compatibility of Curses and Horror Movies

Content warning: I want to write a heroine who feels like a rabbit that eats people. She's withdrawn at first, but once she gets into character, she's like Pearl from the movie: a complete lunatic, obsessive, irritable, and liable to hack people with an axe. (Her brain condition causes genuine physiological insanity, but she recovers after surgery later.) If you can't handle that, or this isn't your thing, please be careful before reading!

Kajima Natsuko's dream is to become a famous actress.

Her father, the leader of the Pan Star Cult: We are all followers of Tengen. We must remain devout.

Her dazzling and popular childhood friend Geto laughs and brushes her off: It's good to have a dream. Stick with it.

More than once, Kajima Natsuko asks herself: Does her dream really matter? Can she really do it?

[Of course you can.]

The entity calling itself the [System] tells her: [You were born to be a star. You're destined to become famous around the world.]

[Then let's start by playing the role you match best: Pearl from the Pearl trilogy~]

[Timed mission: Go to xx Village and apply to be a backup actor and camera assistant.]

Geto thinks the girl next door, who is also his classmate, seems a little strange.

She happily tells him she's going to shoot a movie.

Since Geto is camping nearby with his friends, he decides to drop by and take a look.

But he doesn't know

that this will become the most unforgettable memory of his life.

P.S. The System is real, not a delusion caused by the heroine's brain condition. Here's how to tell the System apart from her hallucinations!

System: A mechanical voice and [ ] text boxes, mainly used to issue missions and hand out rewards~

Hallucinations caused by her condition: Appear as the heroine herself, in her own voice, and call themselves "Tengen."

Theme: May life be vivid and brilliant.
