Transmigrating to Ancient Times as a Living Corpse

Shen Yan is a modern forensic doctor who accidentally transmigrates to the Cangding Dynasty. She wakes to discover that she is already dead, transformed into a living corpse with her full intelligence intact. She has no heartbeat or body heat, her wounds heal extremely quickly, and her strength far exceeds that of an ordinary person. But she has an instinctive craving for the blood of the living and fears fierce flames and yang talismans.

Xie Linyuan, a junior official in the Imperial Observatory, is skilled in yin-yang arts and has been ordered to investigate reports of corpses rising among the people. Cool and taciturn, he sees at a glance that Shen Yan is not human, but doesn't immediately destroy her. He is drawn to the way she has retained her humanity.
