Q: I'm thinking of going into insurance sales. Is the industry on its way out? Are there many potential clients?
A: Thanks for the invite. I'm a top insurance salesperson myself. All I can say is that it's never too late to enter the field. New York is full of opportunities!
Take Tony Stark, the richest man in New York, for example. A rich guy like him has bodyguards whenever he goes out. What could possibly happen to him?
I sold him comprehensive personal security insurance.
Then there's Peter Parker, a top student at Midtown Tech High School. He's interning at Stark Industries and has won several science and innovation competitions. His future is bright! How could a kid like that ever end up without a school?
I turned around and sold him education insurance.
And there's my witty, funny blind lawyer neighbor. Do they have physical altercations in court or something? Why does he always end up covered in injuries? Could someone be picking on a blind guy?
I helpfully recommended he get personal accident insurance.
Then there's this honest-looking middle-aged guy who bought a nearly scrapped red-and-blue semi truck cab from a salvage yard... That wreck can still drive? I don't buy it. I sold him some required auto liability insurance on the side to make a little money.
On top of that, I recommended comprehensive school liability insurance to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and pitched commercial property insurance to the global Continental Hotel chain... Anyway, I think I have a pretty good eye for selling policies, so you can use me as a reference.

Bro, did you laugh?
49L: Hahaha, aliens have invaded New York. How's that policy in your hand, bro?
98L: Good news, Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Bad news, Spider-Man got rejected by MIT and is now out of school. Bro, cry louder, I love hearing it!

Original poster's second edit: Holy crap, I'm ruined. My performance bonus nearly went down the drain!
Luckily, I managed to save it again 😋 Otherwise, the company would've been bankrupt after all those payouts, hahaha.

2. The story mainly features Marvel superheroes, but anyone whose main stomping ground is New York might make an appearance. Some get bigger roles, others smaller ones, and some are just cameos.
