[A Few Things to Know First]:
* The story is entirely fictional, with plenty of original worldbuilding
* One-on-one romance, strong woman/puppy-like man dynamic; the female leads speak their minds, and neither is exactly a good person
* Jianghu, court politics, and military life, with political intrigue as the main focus; happy ending
* If anything makes you uncomfortable, please stop reading. You don't need to tell me you're dropping the story
A young female general decorated with countless military honors × a carefree little immortal wandering the jianghu
Tang Xun found a person covered in blood at Baihua Cliff.
The stranger wore heavy armor and had a strikingly beautiful face. Tang Xun thought he was quite the handsome young man.
But just as she removed his armor to treat his wounds, the little general unexpectedly woke up and clung to her as if his life depended on it, looking utterly on guard.
"You're a grown man. What's wrong with taking off your shirt?"
The little general looked aggrieved. "You're trying to ruin my reputation."
Only later did Tang Xun learn that this young general was actually a woman.
When the people from Wenyuan Hall came looking for her, Tang Xun learned that she was the daughter of Wenyuan Hall's direct-line disciple. Her father's flight had something to do with the Sword Art of Cehua.
She resolved to investigate, secretly leaving Baihua Cliff without even telling her "fiance," Hua Xian.
After searching high and low, she discovered that the Sword Art of Cehua was actually in a military camp.
When the two reunited, Tang Xun used her status as the fiancee of the Marquis of Anding to investigate the truth, step by step. But while that status brought her advantages, it also tied her to Hua Xian, making them partners in the same venture.
At the time, she had no idea she had already been swept into a vast game involving the court, the jianghu, and the military...
Theme: I offer up a sincere heart scarred beyond recognition
The sizzling and greasy charcoal-grilled marinated pork really made me hungry. The first chapter gave me the feeling of watching a movie, and it felt like all the details were in the storyboard.
