During the final battle, what if Peter had snatched the Infinity Stones before Tony and become the one to make the sacrifice?
The Sacred Timeline would have been significantly altered, and the TVA would inevitably intervene and prune the timeline.
But Mr. Stark couldn't accept that.
The trailers for Spider-Man 4 and Avengers 5 kicked a longtime fanfic writer who'd mostly left the fandom right back down the rabbit hole.
And so this idea was born.
