When Ning Qing opened her eyes, she found herself inside an unknown novel.
No System, no supernatural abilities, no plot. She checked again and again, and to her dismay, discovered she'd gotten just three words:
The End.
Ning Qing: ???
Ning Qing: ...
Ning Qing: Fine, then.
The filthy, chaotic house, the original owner who never went out. It took Ning Qing a while to realize... she seemed to be hiding from something...
Until...
Her "boyfriend" called to invite her somewhere.
"Ancestor worship? What ancestor worship?"
Well-versed in the tropes of horror stories, Ning Qing decisively turned down her "boyfriend's" invitation to a remote mountain village that was obviously suspicious.
She deleted and blocked him in one go, then breathed a sigh of relief.
Now she could finally sleep easy, right?
An endless alley, and a woman who always walked slowly ahead of her.
Tap... tap... tap...
Amid the unhurried sound of heels, Ning Qing saw her own corpse hanging high from a streetlamp...
Creak...
Creak...
A long, thin shadow swayed like a mosquito darting around a light...
Her "boyfriend" appeared again, the stairwell behind him twisted and shattered. His voice was low.
"Some things..."
"You can never run away from."
1. The female and male leads are both completely ordinary people. They have normal emotions and goals, and they can be afraid, hurt, and make mistakes. They have no special identities or abilities, no golden fingers, and can only get through using their wits.
2. A traditional two-person dungeon format, not an ensemble cast. No System, game, or livestream elements. They mainly get through by solving mysteries and puzzles.
3. Not a pure power fantasy. They can't kill or beat the ghosts, so the protagonists can only run or find clues that will help them escape. (The upside is that both of them run very fast.)
4. Set in a fictional world. The plot comes first, with romance as a secondary element.
Theme: Love yourself, love life.
