July 15th, Hungry Ghost Festival. It was six o'clock in the evening and the rain had just stopped.
Xie Huai is the kind of person who doesn't attract attention. Ranked first in Class 6, with good grades, but so quiet that he has almost no sense of presence. She just took a shortcut home after school. Then she walked into an alley that didn't exist.
Jiang Luo from Class 13 is the fastest runner on the track and field team.
They have front and rear feet. The fog was very thick and it was getting dark. Someone was burning paper in the distance, and the firelight was flickering.
At the end of the alley is an iron gate. Behind the door is an abandoned steel factory. The blast furnace has turned dark red with rust, and the air is filled with the smell of rust and wet mud.
The wind blows past my ears, and the sky is always almost dark, but not completely dark yet. The paper dust kept floating. The rust kept falling off.
