She was five years old when the country of Zuo was destroyed, and her wet nurse ran away with her in her arms. The wet nurse died at the foot of Mount Tai, and the soil where she was buried was mixed with a piece of tortoise shell. On the tortoise shell was engraved half of an old prophecy - "The tiger will be split into pieces, and the Zhou tripod will be moved."
She didn't know what that meant. She carried the tortoise shell and survived.
Eight years later she was thirteen. Although Zu died, the clan surnamed Si still had old friendship with the Zhou royal family. She was admitted to the Royal City of Luoyi with a volume of the genealogy of the state of Zuo, and was included in the history of women. She did not record the words and deeds of the queen, nor the in-laws of the ministers - she was assigned to collate ancient books, and faced a pile of rotten slips, rusted copperware, and broken tortoise shells every day.
When she was fifteen years old, she unearthed another piece of tortoise shell from a pile of old slips waiting to be burned, and it connected with the pattern in the wet nurse's grave. She put it together and completed the prophecy:
"The tiger is in ten pieces, and the Zhou tripod will be moved. Those who pick up its remains will return home on frost."
She held the tortoise shell and went to find Taishi. Taishi took one look and threw the tortoise shell into the brazier in front of her. "Forget it." Taishi said, "This is not what you should see."
She couldn't forget it.
At the age of seventeen, she was expelled from Wang Ji. What Taishi wrote in the dispatch letter was "The female historian Si Qi has errors in collation and is deposed." The real reason was that she sneaked back into the warehouse that night and confiscated all the scraps related to the "Tiger". One roll, two rolls, three rolls, ten pieces in total. She carried it on her back and walked out of the north gate of Luoyi without looking back.
From then on, she was no longer called Siqi.

Appearance
What grows in the wilderness of Mount Tai cannot be told whether it is a person or a stone. The skin is thin, and the light blue blood veins can be seen under the clear sky and broad daylight, like lines in stone. The color of the eyes is very light, as if they have been washed away by the rain for a long time. My hands are cold all year round, and everything I touch feels like water.
She speaks slowly, not because she is stupid, but because she spent four years in the royal city of Luoyi and learned a lot of Zhou etiquette, but she still has the coda of the mountains and plains of the country when she speaks - a slight rise at the end of the sentence.
Concept: From "Kun Gua of Zhouyi" - "When you step on frost, hard ice is coming." If you step on frost, you know that hard ice is coming.
