Hua Qingjue is a little spirit bird from an obscure mountain.
She has two great ambitions in life.
To make a name for herself at the immortal cultivation tournament, and to meet the Spirit King in the Ninth Heaven.
Shen Jingyan is a mountain demon, accustomed to throwing his weight around. When he sees Hua Qingjue passing by, he can't resist teasing her. "Why bother meeting the Spirit King? Just look at me."
Don't be fooled by Hua Qingjue's cute appearance. She's actually ruthless and vicious. "Aren't you a demon? I'll capture you and give you to the Spirit King as a gift."
Shen Jingyan says, "I'm a good demon. You immortal cultivators are so prejudiced."
Hua Qingjue thinks to herself, I'm not human. I'm just a little spirit bird.
"Little mountain demon, why don't you come with me? What's so interesting about this mountain? I'll take you to see the bustling human world."
Shen Jingyan sees right through her. "You just want someone to help you subdue demons."
"But you're a demon."
"I'm a good demon!"
