An assassin takes on a job: kill the young prince.
The guards at the young prince's residence are no pushovers. The two of them are both injured and fall off a cliff.
The assassin still wants to kill the young prince. Leaning against the cave wall, the prince coughs up blood and laughs between coughs. "There are plenty of wolves, tigers, leopards, and bears in these woods. The two of us have a helper, too. You can kill me after we climb out from the bottom of the cliff."
The assassin thinks that makes sense.
Mostly because there's a tiger outside, and he can't very well refuse.
The land at the foot of the cliff is uninhabited and covered in dense forest. The young prince saves the assassin's life. The assassin may be a ruthless killer, but he has principles: a life debt must be repaid, and the target still has to die.
The assassin decides to save the young prince's life first, then kill him. The young prince looks at him and smiles. "No need to go to all that trouble. If you really want to repay your debt, why not help me fulfill a wish?"
The assassin stands bolt upright, clutching his knife. The young prince moves closer and closer, then says, "Forgive me." The assassin feels the young prince's slightly cool lips press against his fever-hot forehead.
"Do you have a fever?" The young prince hooks a finger around his and murmurs, "You're so hot."
The assassin's knife falls to the ground.
<Even the fastest blade in the world has a tender heart that can be wound around a finger>
