Mianbao is the least useful cat with an ability at Akali Academy.
It can rewind time inside a magic photograph, but it can only move around within the photograph's frame.
The only use for this ability is to find pictures of people who mocked it as a "soggy bun" or a "black coal ball," enter the photos, and swipe its claws hard across their detestable faces.
With its fiery temper and black fur considered a bad omen, it became the only stray cat in the whole academy.
One day, the headmaster's beloved pet, a Persian cat named Miss Alice, lost her mouse toy. Hoping to earn the one silver coin offered as a reward, Mianbao performed a "live mouse from nowhere" trick in front of Miss Alice:
It jumped into a photograph and put the toy mouse in a nearby drawer. When it returned to the real world, the toy mouse had appeared there too.
Turning around, it saw the white beauty with different-colored eyes and a pink bow, gazing at it in admiration as if she'd struck gold.
Mianbao was over the moon. It hadn't expected to win not only a silver coin but also a beautiful girl's heart. It curled its tail around Miss Alice's tail and said, "Beautiful miss, would you like to be friends?"
"Of course! You and I are best friends in the whole world~" Miss Alice said in a deep, booming voice, licking the fur on Mianbao's cheek.
Hearing Miss Alice's gruff voice, Mianbao's whole body shuddered. It smacked Miss Alice's noble face with one paw. "Wait! How the hell are you a boy?!"
