"Prescription No. 13"
Introduction
On the edge of Jiangcheng, there stands a mental hospital shrouded in thick fog and oblivion - Lunatic Asylum No. 13. Patients with the weirdest behaviors and the most bizarre medical records are treated here, and their attending doctor Xu Mingqi is the most special "doctor" in the hospital. He never opened his mouth for consultation, and relied only on a yellowed ancient book and a cinnabar pen to write out prescriptions, but he was able to cure "hysteria" that even modern medicine was unable to cure.
New nurse Qiu Yingying soon discovers that the truth of this hospital is far more absurd than the medical records: footsteps lingering at midnight, nursery rhymes repeated in patients' dreams, and the three underground floors that are always locked... And the prescription notes filled with strange symbols in Xu Mingqi's drawer seem to be inextricably linked to the many "paper brides" disappearances in Jiangcheng over the past century.
When Qiu Yingying accidentally found a faded wedding card belonging to her in the morgue, she was shocked to realize that she had already become a part of the "ritual". And Xu Mingqi stared into her eyes, tearing off the disguise of calmness for the first time: "If you want to live, remember - in this courtyard, the craziest people are often the most sane."
