[Western Crossover] Will I Run Into the Big Blue Bird in a Dungeon?

Pamir C. Moran, a bedbound patient in his past life, a perfect laboratory creation in this one, and a minor working-age laborer certified by the System.

When he was eight, Silas Moran kicked him into elementary school for what he called a "socialization experiment." Pamir understood. You couldn't expect a mutant kid raised in an underground lab to have normal social skills.

Then he met Richard John Grayson. Everyone in class knew he was the Wayne family's newly adopted son. Only Pamir knew that one day he'd become Nightwing, the big blue bird who flew around Bludhaven.

The System said: Keep your distance and don't reveal your identity.

Pamir said: Okay.

Then he knocked down four older students who were picking a fight, right in front of Dick.

The System: ...

Later, at fifteen, Pamir blew up his adoptive father's lab, faked his death, and went early into an instance world to do exploitative gig work. Seven years later, with a scar on the left side of his face and an ID badge reading "Special Consultant for Rift Affairs," he finally opened the door to the Bludhaven Police Department.

After a busy day, Officer Grayson heard a familiar voice.

"Hello, Officer. I'm the new recruit starting today. I look forward to working with you."

Later, Pamir entered an amusement park instance and was regressed to an eight-year-old child. He had blond hair and blue eyes, with ears and a tail popping out. He looked up and saw Nightwing standing in front of him, with Jason Todd beside him.

One asked, "You know him?"

The other asked, "You know him?!"

Pamir buried his face in his knees.

Note: The instance content isn't extensive. Most of the story focuses on real life and the romantic plot. Pamir and Dick grew up together, so there are plenty of warm childhood moments too.

[Reading Guide]

1. Nightwing pairing / Dick Grayson. He's a partner and the blue-eyed boy who grew up with Pamir.

2. He's a mutant with ears and a tail, which he can control at will. Later, he can transform completely into a leopard, with very soft fur.

3. After faking his death, Pamir did actually visit in a dream to explain, but visiting someone in a dream is...

4. As a child, he has blond hair and blue eyes. As an adult, he has light blond hair and gray-green eyes. A snow leopard's eye color changes as it grows older. Search it if you're curious.

5. At eight, the protagonist is a sunny, clingy little ball of energy. As an adult, he's a not-so-sunny clingy ball of energy. (Basically, he's a hard-done-by wage slave.)
