[Blurb]
On the first day of opening his clinic, Karen Grissom made sure to check the almanac.
It said: Open your doors today, and business will thrive.
He believed it.
Then the Joker started "performing" in the city center.
A group of ordinary people fleeing for their lives rushed inside. Outside, a ring of thugs searched for someone who wasn't there. In the corner stood a Red Hood, blocked by an invisible wall, his face screaming, "What the hell is going on?"
Karen poured himself a glass of water.
The almanac hadn't lied.
It was just that this kind of "thriving" was a little beyond what he'd expected.
After that, strange people started showing up at the clinic.
A young guy in a red-and-blue bodysuit poked his head in. "I heard you can treat spider bites? I have a friend..."
A middle-aged man with a shield knocked on the door. "Someone recommended you. They said you're an interdimensional health-insurance provider."
Really? Was it an Iron Man in Gryffindor colors?
Come to think of it, he was doing more wizarding than doctoring these days...
Who lets a doctor go onto the battlefield?!
Karen was silent for three seconds, then turned to the raccoon in the corner, who was rummaging through his snack cupboard.
"Should I get a different almanac?"
The raccoon didn't even look up. "Why? You believe in this stuff."
"...I call it having a sense of ritual."
"Sure, a sense of ritual." The raccoon tore open a bag of chips. "Then ritually make them line up."
[Helpful Notes]
· The protagonist can use magic and see souls. He opened a clinic simply because he was sick of a life full of fighting and killing. These days, he has the mindset of a retired old man.
(He's already spent over twenty years in the magical world, so he has more than thirty years of life experience. However, his body is eighteen at the beginning of the story, and his physical age affects his mental age.)
· Jason Todd is the clinic's VIP among VIPs.
· The clinic is his most important fixed asset, second only to that bag of chips that keeps getting stolen.
· Thanos will be dealt with. That's right, Nini absolutely won't die again.
· Not friendly to the Joker, the Court of Owls, or supervillains in general. In short, if you like villains, proceed with caution.
[In a Nutshell]
The story of a cold-hearted doctor who retired from the magical world (not really), opened a clinic in Gotham, treated patients, and went head-to-head with a certain snack-stealing raccoon.

[One More Thing from the Author]
No angst, really, no angst.
The protagonist may have had a bleak past, but these days, the main themes of his life are:
Staring into space, treating patients, watching birds, and wondering why every bag of chips he buys lasts less than three days.
This story came from a late-night burst of inspiration. It's probably going to be a short story. I'll try not to abandon it, but updates will come when they come.
(This is an old, embarrassing work, so read with caution.)
Theme: Sometimes you have no choice but to put retirement on hold.
This is the way I want to see him die. The Joker should not die as a superhero, nor should he die as a sensation. He should die plainly and die in the wrath of a common man.
The anger of the ordinary people he ignored overturned him
A dead clown is a good clown [spread flowers]
This kind of ending is the best, dying at the hands of ordinary people who were killed, the feeling of karma
I have read several articles, and the first time I saw him kill Zhou Keer easily [hahahahahaha], I really felt that there were signs of deification. One of them was that there was no way to kill him, and the rules were weird (not to blame). However, each author has his own setting and ideas. This article is also a quite novel method of ratting Zhou Ke'er in the hands of a person who was deeply hurt by him [Make Me Kangkang]
Woo hoo hoo, I'm crying again. Colin was so calm and brave in the end. Karen, please live a happy life 😭
I feel that the writing is very warm, the writing style is light and has a daily meaning, and the writing is superb! Come on, madam!
Wow!!! Finished scattering flowers!!! My wife is great!! (I have been so busy these days that I have no time to comment on QWQ) (And the flu seems to be on the rise again recently. Considering my wife's condition before, I need to pay more attention this time.)
We are so sweet [orange heart] [orange heart] [orange heart] that we are finally together 🎆
