Zhuzhu never imagined she was the female supporting character. She was just a little too playful, a little too fond of looking beautiful, and a little too vain.
She was the daughter of a provincial governor and a descendant of the Boling Cui clan. Born noble, she was loved by everyone, until one day a monster called the System came looking for her.
The world was a storybook? The male lead was that lowly horse slave? The female lead was her half-sister?
Was she just a vicious supporting character in the storybook, always trying to trip up the male lead?
Every storybook's world inexplicably collapsed after its main story ended. The System had investigated all sorts of possible causes, narrowed them down to her, and come to supervise her in person?
Zhuzhu looked down at the human footstool kneeling beneath her. Amid the System's shrill cries, she confirmed that this was indeed the male lead.
In the storybook, the Yue Dynasty would soon descend into chaos as vassal kings rebelled and refugees rose up in revolt. Then heroes would emerge from every corner to fight for the realm. The male lead would rise from slave to soldier, step by step. To take advantage of his growing power, her grandfather would try to marry her off to him. Zhuzhu, who had loved her cousin since childhood, naturally refused. She went on a hunger strike, secretly ran away from the wedding, and her younger sister married the male lead instead. They fell in love after marrying, and when he united the realm, the founding emperor and empress were worshipped by the people. As for her, she was chased by fleeing soldiers on the road and fell off a cliff to her death.
Zhuzhu was a princess of the merfolk. The human and demon races had fought for a hundred years over cultivation resources. When they finally called a truce, they sent exchange students to study among each other's people. Zhuzhu had just come of age and was assigned to the human race's greatest sect, the Heavenly Sword Sect.
The sect's senior disciple was handsome, exceptionally gifted, and powerful. Zhuzhu fell for him at first sight, but her affection was like suddenly discovering a large, lustrous pearl or a brilliant, precious gemstone: Once she had it in her collection, she quickly lost interest.
He was always trying to control her, telling her what to eat, drink, and wear. He forbade this and prohibited that, insisted she cultivate properly, and wouldn't let her slack off. Zhuzhu got fed up and broke up with him, returning to the merfolk. Later, she heard that after a century of silence, he had broken through the Golden Core, Nascent Soul, and Deity Transformation stages in quick succession, becoming the youngest Deity Transformation Venerable. In the storybook, he would take a young disciple during this time. The disciple's constant companionship would help him cultivate at such a remarkable pace. In the end, he would defeat the demon race's strongest Demon King and force the demons to submit. Zhuzhu, meanwhile, would be captured and abused by people hoping to curry favor with him, and die rather than endure the humiliation.

Her father was the richest man in City A. Business inevitably made him enemies, and Zhuzhu had a weak heart and couldn't overwork herself, so he adopted many sons to help manage his businesses. Zhuzhu thought of them as older brothers. Her favorite was the seventh brother. He wasn't gentle and wouldn't play with her, but as long as her father was around, it didn't matter if he didn't want to. He still had to listen to her and play with her.
Later, when Zhuzhu had grown up and was attending international schools, she went to her seventh brother's classroom to see him one day and discovered that he had secretly gotten a girlfriend! She was furious. But the more she tried to break them up, the closer she brought them together. Later, her father suddenly died, and the butler told her that her seventh brother was behind it all. She confronted him, but his bodyguards pushed her down the stairs, killing her.
