Su Liangyu is an ordinary Beta with an unfortunate streak of bad luck.

He studies and works hard, following the rules, but keeps running into setbacks because of his terrible luck.

After finally graduating from a prestigious medical university in Northern Europe with an extremely valuable degree, he returns home, ready to make a name for himself

But just after his return, a pheromone disturbance breaks out in the country, and Su Liangyu suddenly differentiates into an Omega.

All the medical personnel who returned with him are assigned as combat medics to the Eastern Theater Command. The group of top graduates are overwhelmed on the battlefield, and Su Liangyu is affected by the pheromones of a seriously injured Alpha officer, nearly dying in the process.

When he opens his eyes again, he's been brought to a luxury apartment.

An Alpha officer lies in the room, covered in blood.

The moment Su Liangyu sees his face, all the blood in his body seems to freeze.

The good news: starting today, Su Liangyu no longer has to suffer on the war-torn front lines.

The bad news: he has to provide round-the-clock, personal care for this gravely wounded Alpha colonel.

The even worse news: the colonel is an old acquaintance.

"Why is knowing him bad news? Isn't that a good thing? Knowing the Alliance's supreme commander is an incredible honor!"

In response to his friend's question, Su Liangyu gives a dry laugh.

If only they were just acquaintances...

Unfortunately, this esteemed colonel, the Alliance's supreme commander, wasn't just once his stepbrother. He was also the ex-boyfriend Su Liangyu had kicked to the curb.

Su Liangyu never expected their reunion to happen under these circumstances...

The day Shen Yunian opens his eyes in the medical pod, his gaze slowly sweeps around the room, and his sapphire-blue eyes meet Su Liangyu's.

Their eyes meet, and Su Liangyu guiltily lowers his head.

But the very next second, the other man frowns and asks coldly,

"Who are you?"

Su Liangyu freezes, surprised that the other man has lost his memory.

He blinks and glances at the large screen beside them, where their compatibility results are clearly displayed.

Su Liangyu clears his throat, his gaze resolute.

"Good day, Colonel. I'm an... Omega with a 99% compatibility match with you."
