[Love Triangle] [Angsty and Delightfully Messy] [The Ex Chases Their Spouse into the Crematorium]
The main character in the story is Jiang Pingsui. The blurb is told from Qu Qinyi's perspective.
*
Qu Qinyi has always thought her fiancee, Jiang Pingsui, is terribly boring: vulgar, stupid, greedy, and vain, with nothing going for her except her face.
A beautiful face, one that looks good on Qu Qinyi's arm, and one that resembles Tang Qingzhi.
Qu Qinyi's ideal wife is someone like Tang Qingzhi: an artist, romantic, elegant, aloof, and immensely talented, with no flaws except that Qu Qinyi can't have her.
If she ever manages to win the aloof Tang Qingzhi, she'll kick the boring Jiang Pingsui to the curb without hesitation.
Qu Qinyi is always thinking that.
*
Someone like Tang Qingzhi is never easy to win over.
The elegant Tang Qingzhi is nothing like the vulgar Jiang Pingsui.
So Qu Qinyi has no choice but to pursue elegant Tang Qingzhi with great fanfare while keeping a vulgar fiancee who looks like her at home.
Her fiancee really is so vulgar.
When Tang Qingzhi receives the very same gifts, she only gives Qu Qinyi a scornful look, while Jiang Pingsui gazes starry-eyed at the luxury items Tang Qingzhi didn't want.
All it takes is a handbag for Qu Qinyi to step on her shoulders with ease, press her head down, and leave her unable to breathe. All it takes is a watch for Jiang Pingsui to gasp and cry in the shower as she begs for more.
Qu Qinyi despises Jiang Pingsui for being like this.
The more she despises Jiang Pingsui, the more frantically she pursues Tang Qingzhi.
*
After Tang Qingzhi rejects her yet again, Qu Qinyi suddenly realizes that she may be in love with her vulgar fiancee, and that it has nothing to do with her resemblance to Tang Qingzhi.
But when Qu Qinyi decides to turn back before it's too late, all she gets is a wedding invitation.
Her hands trembling, Qu Qinyi opens it and sees the names Jiang Pingsui and Tang Qingzhi.
She rushes to the wedding in a daze, only to see Tang Qingzhi, the woman she could never have, caressing the cheek of her plain fiancee, a crazed, possessive smile spreading across her lips.
And her vulgar, stupid fiancee has suggestive red marks half-hidden on her neck. Her eyes are watery, her lips swollen and damp, and her voice hoarse and muffled as she says, "I do."
In that instant, her world collapses.

[Reading Notes]
1. I haven't decided on the pairing yet, hahaha.
2. I'll write when inspiration strikes. If it doesn't, encouragement will get me writing anyway, hehe.
3. A spectacularly messy melodrama: you love me when I don't love you, I love you when you don't love me, she loves me when I don't love her, and I love her when she loves you.
One-line summary: I couldn't resist sleeping with my sugar mommy's unattainable first love.
Theme: Cherish the person in front of you.
