Sweet Burden: Part Two

The original Loveless story follows the fighters and the sacrifices. Each pair shares matching, code-like names. The fighter attacks enemies on behalf of the sacrifice and bears the duty of protecting them, battling through the manipulation of language. In battles between fighters, it is the sacrifice who suffers the damage.

Ritsuka Aoyagi is a sixth-grade elementary school student. Two years ago, his older brother Seimei was murdered, and he lost the only person who understood him. Then Soubi Agatsuma appeared, a fighter who calls Seimei his sacrifice. Soubi hopes Ritsuka will become his new master, and tells him that Seimei was killed by an organization called “Seventh Moon.” After learning this, Ritsuka decides to fight alongside Soubi and uncover the truth behind his brother’s murder.

A new friend, Toji Uehara, arrives in Tokyo and meets Ritsuka and Soubi, only to get caught up in the fighters’ tangled love and hate. Soubi and Ritsuka’s relationship is put to the test, while Toji’s happiness is buffeted by hardships. What will become of them?
