I Have a Little Glass Flower

·

I have the very best friend in the world. She is a tiny glass flower, clean and clear as morning dew, gentle as moonlight.

But one day, I said so many awful things to her. When the little glass flower heard them, she went “crack” and shattered all over the ground...

I panicked and burst into tears, apologizing to her. “I’m sorry! I shouldn’t have said that to you!”

But no miracle happened. I could never hear the little glass flower laugh again...
