The Saltwater Canary

[An outline-style novel. The first section is complete, and it has now entered the flashback and mystery-revealing section.] He was a wandering spirit. One day, he took an interest in Jiang Hu, a cool and aloof scientist whose husband had died a year earlier. He possessed a bionic android made by Jiang Hu, hoping to become Jiang Hu's new love. After all, Jiang Hu and his late husband, You Quezhi, had no emotional connection. Their marriage had been contractual, so surely Jiang Hu had no intention of mourning You Quezhi forever. Who knew Jiang Hu would feed him all sorts of data and train him every day, all to make him into an android exactly like his late husband? He didn't get it. What was so great about that pretentious, cold-faced dead husband? Wasn't it a marriage of convenience? Why was Jiang Hu still so hung up on him? The way Jiang Hu missed his late husband made him so angry he wanted to cry. But Jiang Hu wouldn't let him shed a tear, because the real You Quezhi was distant and proud, and never cried. To Jiang Hu, his tears were nothing more than an untimely drop of salt water from a bionic android. He was just a pool of salt water brewed by Jiang Hu's bird-call zither. 1. Ghost / Little Sparrow / You Quezhi (top) x Jiang Hu (bottom) 2. A seemingly cold and domineering top who's only pretending to be tough x a cool widow who sees her husband through eight hundred layers of rose-colored glasses 3. An outline-style novel. The blurb and opening chapters are from the top's perspective; later, the perspective shifts as the plot requires. 4. The era and technological development are entirely fictional. Though there are bionic androids, AI is roughly as advanced as artificial stupidity, so don't overanalyze it. One-line summary: My dead husband lost his memory and is jealous of himself Theme: Loving every side of him
