And so, after a minor quarrel every three days and a major row every five, Qi Zongxi managed, without too much trouble, to change the original female lead's mind and get her to accept the male lead again.
The day the lightning tribulation vanished from overhead, she beat gongs and drums and happily dragged Gu Fengzhi off to dissolve their Daoist-couple seal.
The immortal official asked, "Why?"
Qi Zongxi answered, "We're incompatible."
"In what way?"
