After the Battle of Shinjuku, there were no more Six Eyes in the world. Whenever her grandmother heard those words, she would grip Qinggong Deng’s arm hard and tell her through clenched teeth that the Six Eyes would return one day and restore the glory of the Gojo clan.
But what did any of that have to do with Qinggong Deng? An orphan her grandmother had taken in, she could only spend her days in the Gojo Shrine her grandmother had built, listening to stories about the bearer of the Six Eyes.
Then one day, she unexpectedly awakened the Six Eyes. When the Jujutsu Association heard the news, they sent people to recruit her on the surface, but secretly killed her grandmother and burned down the shrine. Qinggong Deng could only flee for her life, unable to control her newly awakened eyes.
Cornered with nowhere to run, she unexpectedly awakened a technique and tore through space and time, landing in a strange place. Then, in her world, another pair of the same eyes lit up. The person crouched beside her and said with amused surprise, "Hey, Six Eyes."
