Kaito Kid Is Making Me Swoon Again Today

A young woman from the 21st century unexpectedly transmigrates into the world of Detective Conan, becoming Sato Akira, a girl who is a devoted Kaito Kid fan.

The original girl died after staying up late to wait for her idol, fainting from low blood sugar and falling. I live quietly under her identity for half a month, gradually adjusting to life in Beika Town. But I can't let go of my dream of seeing Kaito Kid in person.

On the night the "Moon's Tear" goes on display at the Suzuki Museum, I hide on the rooftop to watch Kid make his dazzling entrance, only to unexpectedly be spotted by the man himself.

The white-clad phantom thief strikes up a conversation with his usual sly charm, teasing me about the T-shirt printed with his picture. At my request, he signs the back of my old Nokia with his trademark KID autograph, then gives me two pearl earrings as a parting gift, joking that they're stars for me.

Our close-up encounter disrupts my peaceful life. Watching the phantom thief move effortlessly through the police cordon, I find myself more than happy to keep being his most loyal fan in the audience after this one-of-a-kind, real-life meeting.
