[Folklore and supernatural tales, episodic story]
Cool, brilliant girl with yin-yang eyes x beautiful fox immortal who won't stop clinging to her
Hu Yunzhi is a fox immortal.
She used to be a household guardian spirit. But when no one worshiped her, she gradually grew weaker.
When she finally regained consciousness, it was Gu Qing who had awakened her.
Cool and composed, with long, dark hair framing her fair face, Gu Qing lowered her eyes amid the curling smoke rising from the shrine. She looked more like an immortal than Hu Yunzhi did.
Gu Qing said, "No one worships you anymore. I'll worship you."
Over the next few years, she and her little devotee fell in love.
Later, Heaven would not allow it. A sudden bolt of divine lightning struck them both.
The good news was that the lightning had sent her ten years into the past, giving her a chance to prevent the disaster alongside Gu Qing.
The bad news was that it had also destroyed her cultivation. In other words, she was now just a big white fox who could turn into a human.
Looking at the teenage Gu Qing, who gazed at her calmly with cool eyes, Hu Yunzhi had hoped to rekindle their relationship. But the girl didn't remember her at all.
To protect her young wife, she diligently went to school and kept her company. But she discovered that strange things kept happening around her wife, whose yin-yang eyes let her see the supernatural. One bizarre incident after another came to light.
Hu Yunzhi remembered that before she transmigrated, her wife had already become a Daoist priest. Could there be more to it than she knew?
Gu Qing was an unlucky girl with yin-yang eyes.
She had seen ghosts since childhood. If she went out without an umbrella, it always rained. Every drink she bought came with a "Sorry, you lose," and whenever she crossed the school field, a ball was sure to hit her.
She never expected to meet a woman of otherworldly beauty one day, who even claimed to be her wife.
In her dreams, the woman smiled, her willow-shaped brows arched. The scent of orchids brushed past Gu Qing's temples. She said they would not cross the River of Clouds, but would remain travelers in this world together.

1. One-on-one romance from beginning to end, with no exes or melodramatic relationship tangles.
2. The younger love interest is quite calculating and occasionally gets dark and possessive, with a pronounced tendency to keep others away.
3. The everyday scenes are fairly lighthearted, with plenty of goofy inner monologues from the protagonists. But when they fight, they hit hard and can be relied on.
Theme: A down-on-her-luck fox fears no hardship. She helps those in danger and saves herself along the way.
