Fengzhen Kinomoto has an older brother who can rip apart water-themed cards with his bare hands, and a younger sister chosen by fate to become a Cardcaptor.
The laid-back second son, content to lie flat, rolls over. He only wants to be the one normal person in the family.
But how did that roll land him on the tennis court next door?!
Watching his sister's plea for help reach across worlds, the laid-back mute cries out in alarm.
What do you mean a copy of the Clow Cards followed him here, and unless he captures every card, both worlds will be doomed?
To save the world, Fengzhen Kinomoto picks up a tennis racket and becomes a magical boy.
Fengzhen: So why is my wand a tennis racket? Is it just so I fit in?
Later, as he plays tennis and captures Clow Cards on the court, Fengzhen understands the world's thoughtful intentions.
Two uses in one swing, double the efficiency! If he wants more time to lie flat, he has to work this hard!

The second-year regulars at Rikkai are all more driven than the last.
Kirishima swings his racket 100 times, so Kinomoto swings his 200 times. Then Kirishima raises the number to 300.
Kirishima wins 6-0 in 15 minutes, so Kinomoto cuts his time to 14 minutes. Then Kirishima frantically pushes himself to do it in 13.
Captain Yukimura is quite pleased: We seniors can't let them beat us.
And so Rikkai's tennis club reaches new heights of hard work and a whole new level of intensity.
Fengzhen Kinomoto: ?
I'm training like crazy to boost my magic and capture cards. What are you all doing?

1. The main setting is The Prince of Tennis, with a crossover with Cardcaptor Sakura. The Cardcaptor Sakura canon covered here ends with the Sakura Card arc. The protagonist's magic has its own system, and he won't share the same deck of cards with Sakura.
2. With everyone working this hard, winning the national championship three years in a row is only natural.
3. The protagonist perfectly inherited the Kinomoto family's athletic genes. He's strong without magic and even stronger with it, able to clash with otherworldly powers.
4. Peach has Yukito, Sakura has Tomoyo, so little brother Fengzhen also has the world's best best friend as his partner in sealing cards.
5. It's hard to say which is less scientific: tennis or the Clow Cards.
