What is it like to start a campus romance game already married?
Nanami Mingyang stared at his household registration and angrily poked the game's GM:
"Who the hell is this Kurosawa Jin? Why! Is! A! Police academy student in a dating game already married? Are you forcing me into an NTR ending?"
The game GM fell silent, doing nothing but displaying the message: System busy.
Getting no response, and unable to bear deleting his save, Nanami Mingyang decided to treat the spouse who had never once contacted him as part of the background-setting play.
"It's not like cheating is out of the question..." he said, opening the chat with his online boyfriend, Mr. G.
Mr. G, his thoughtful online friend, was a good guy who had kept him company throughout the police academy. But wanting to unlock more routes, Nanami Mingyang chose to go undercover after graduating.
The instant he laid eyes on the silver-haired, cold-faced top killer, Nanami immediately grouped Mr. G with his missing husband, Kurosawa Jin.
To win over this big shot who looked like he had max difficulty, Nanami Mingyang decided to start with Gin's career ambitions: first get him to work, then get him to [censored]!
Player Nanami had planned a perfect path to becoming a total playboy, with online friend Mr. G on one arm, his direct superior Gin on the other, and Mr. Kurosawa, a husband who had never appeared but quietly sent him money, behind his back.
But only after playing to the very end did Nanami Mingyang realize he'd messed up.
Nobody told him that Mr. G was Kurosawa, and Kurosawa was Gin!
* After returning from an overseas mission, Gin discovered that his spouse had gone off to police academy, often went out with his classmates, and never came home on weekends.
When his little darling graduated from the academy, Gin thought they would have a steady job and could finally come home for dinner.
He never expected his little darling to block his contact information!
When he saw the little rascal who had abandoned home and family at the Organization, Gin was just about to speak when the other man called out in a loud, heartfelt voice: "Boss!"
-- Reader's Guide --
1. The protagonist goes undercover mainly to unlock more game routes.
2. The CP is Gin. There are lots of author-created details, all for the sake of a worry-free romance and a happy ending (not really).
3. The protagonist doesn't have an overpowered golden finger. He's just muddling through, though saving and loading in the dating game are basic features.
Theme: Be faithful when you're in love!
