Blurb: (Expected to launch in October. Feel free to check it out and add it to your collection >3<
Cen Jianxi transmigrates into the middle of a divorce scene, and the wife being cast aside is her.
Bandits are running rampant, and to lighten their burden on the road, her husband's family cruelly abandons her and her three-year-old daughter.
Her birth family consists only of her elderly parents, so she has no choice but to take the whole family on the run.
Her young daughter is very well-behaved. Despite the bumpy journey, she rarely cries, quietly snuggling in her arms. Sometimes she even reaches up to touch her face with a little hand, which comforts her.
On the road, they come across an injured hunter. He's strong and makes excellent food, but he's lost his memory. After recovering, he quietly follows behind them. After thinking it over several times, Cen Jianxi takes him along as their cook and bodyguard.
By the time they reach a new place and settle down, the money they brought with them has quickly run out.
Luckily, the original owner of her body enjoyed studying medicinal herbs, and Cen Jianxi herself has a background in traditional Chinese medicine. She goes up the mountain to gather herbs every day and sometimes treats the neighbors, earning a living and supporting the family.
From an unknown village doctor, she endures countless hardships to become a physician known throughout the area. She even opens a medical clinic, and life keeps getting better.
Just then, the neighbors who used to mock her come to introduce her to a husband, claiming it's for her own good.
She brings up the hunter she saved on the road: "I've already got a live-in husband. Don't bother me."
The honest hunter blushes. "Huh? Me? I guess that works..."
Cen Jianxi is resolute. "Of course. I worked hard to build a good life. Why should I let someone else take it away?"
