The Extremely Irreverent Paranormal Gossip Rag

Qihai used to think the whole world was one giant pile of shit, and that the only difference between people was whether they shoveled this pile or that one.

As he hesitated over whether to quit, an invitation to join a magazine arrived on his desk. He had never even sent them a resume.

An editor-in-chief whose thought process was harder to follow than the large intestine.

An art director who spent every day posing on the windowsill.

A silent data clerk with a lollipop stuck in their hair.

A photographer who was clearly an ordinary human, yet could vanish in the blink of an eye.

An operations manager with a serious brother complex, who supposedly took the job because her brother liked reading magazines.

A proofreader with a wide network of contacts who got paid to pet cat spirits.

And then there was him, an all-around lead writer who could fight and write, recommended by someone he knew.

"Editor-in-chief, I've finished organizing the materials."

"Thanks, Qihai. Heizi, let's go."

"What are we doing this time?"

"Special report! The strongest sorcerer is actually a fan of thongs. How do you measure up to the strong?!"

"?"

"In short, we're interviewing all the special-grade jujutsu sorcerers about their underwear preferences."

Who on earth reads a magazine full of gossip and fake claims like this?!

"The people involved do, and they'll pay us to take the relevant articles down."

"That's just hush money!"

"How else do you think we pay your salaries?"

?

Qihai still thinks the whole world is one giant pile of shit, especially their magazine, which is the shittiest of the lot.

Pairing undecided. You can invest in ships beyond the magazine staff too.
