The Good-for-Nothing Young Master Can See Ghosts

[Can See Ghosts, Proud Young Master Bottom vs. Ghost-Busting, Materialist Police Detective Top]

At his birthday banquet, Fang Yaobai was declared a fake young master who had been switched at birth when a paternity test was displayed in front of everyone.

Kicked out of the Fang family and with nowhere else to turn, Fang Yaobai awakened the ability to see ghosts.

A woman in a white dress was crouching by the roadside, crying in the middle of the night. Fang Yaobai called the police for her.

When the police arrived, they saw only Fang Yaobai, but unearthed a skeleton nearby.

Fang Yaobai pointed at the still-crying woman, but couldn't convince anyone. He was taken to the station as a suspect.

Ji Jue had been a police detective for years. Upright and righteous, he was convinced that ghosts and gods didn't exist. Then he met Fang Yaobai.

This abandoned rich young master claimed he'd seen the victim at the crime scene, identified where the body was buried, and even provided a crucial clue.

A decades-old cold case was solved, and Fang Yaobai was cleared of suspicion.

But Ji Jue remained deeply skeptical. He took the homeless Fang Yaobai home, ostensibly to give him shelter, but really to keep an eye on him.

Young Master Fang made himself right at home and took over Ji Jue's bed that very night.

Ji Jue thought keeping Fang Yaobai under his nose would make him easy to manage. Little did he know he'd brought home a living ancestor.

Young Master Fang had spent twenty years in the lap of luxury, used to having everything handed to him. He treated Ji Jue like a servant from the moment he opened his mouth.

And he was fussy about everything he ate and used:

He thought the bed was too hard, so he bought an imported mattress and had it delivered cash on arrival.

He didn't like the food, so he ordered meals from high-end restaurants every day and paid by the month.

Looking at the bills delivered to his home, Ji Jue took ten minutes of deep breathing to stop himself from throwing Fang Yaobai out the door.
