After the Demon Venerable Lost His Memory

The Demon Lord lost his memory during a fierce battle.

He seized Gu Qingwu, the only living person on the battlefield, and demanded to know where they were and who she was.

Not long before, Gu Qingwu had watched him get surrounded and stabbed in the back. He'd slaughtered countless people.

Having stumbled into the scene by accident, Gu Qingwu was on the verge of tears.

Behind her was a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood. Before her was the Demon Lord's cold, assessing gaze.

She had no doubt that as soon as she answered his questions, he would casually dispose of her.

This is the end for me!

As the Demon Lord's gaze grew colder, Gu Qingwu grabbed his hand at the last possible moment and declared passionately, "Husband, I'm your wife! Don't you remember me?"

The Demon Lord: "..."

He froze on the spot.

After the Demon Lord lost his memory, she pretended to be his Daoist partner.

The amnesiac Demon Lord was curious about everything, especially their relationship.

The Demon Lord: "How did we meet?"

Gu Qingwu made it up on the spot. "It was one summer by the lake at Daming..."

The Demon Lord: "How did we fall in love?"

Gu Qingwu let her imagination run wild. "It was a stormy night..."

The Demon Lord: "And then we..."

Gu Qingwu burst into tears. "Boss, please let me go!"

The Demon Lord: "Hm?"

Gu Qingwu forced a smile. "I mean, I love you! Mwah!"

Juggling the Demon Lord while plotting her escape left Gu Qingwu exhausted in body and mind.

Worse still, she felt that the way he looked at her was getting stranger and stranger.

Had he figured out she was lying?

Thinking of her own survival, Gu Qingwu struck first. She seized an opportunity to drug the Demon Lord, grabbed her bundle, and ran.

After running three hundred li without stopping, Gu Qingwu congratulated herself on finally getting away.

"Is that so?" The Demon Lord's voice sounded beside her ear. "I've found you, my wife."
