Three Parts Sweet Talk

The notorious femme fatale of the French department declares that she'll win over the new handsome guy at the library within a month. The gossip-hungry crowd is thrilled, each person clutching their melon and getting ready to watch the joke unfold. The month passes without a hitch. Someone asks the hunk how she won him over. He smiles like a spring breeze and says, "Xia is sweet and gentle. Anyone would like her." Tsk, tsk. Such a handsome guy, and he's blind.
