[Delicate, sensitive, high-maintenance sweetheart] × [Gentle, steady, fake uncle]
The author’s other ongoing novel, "The Qipao Cake-School Daddy", is updating now. Please add it to your reading list!
At twelve, Su Qiaoxu is orphaned and studying abroad. He is brought back to China and moves in with his fake uncle, Qiao Yici, who is twelve years older than him.
At first, he is rebellious, hates school, and can’t sleep. His uncle comforts him, talks him through things, and sings him to sleep.
Later, after he grows up, he keeps sneaking into his uncle’s bedroom in the middle of the night.
“Su Qiaoxu, you’re not a child anymore. Stop crawling into my arms. Let go of my pajamas! I’m your little uncle!!!”
“We’re not related by blood, so how are you my uncle? Qiao Yici, I still prefer to call you Daddy, especially in bed.”
Half an hour later, Qiao Yici lifts his head from Su Qiaoxu, sweat dripping onto him.
“What should you call me? Louder.”
“Little Uncle, I was wrong. Please let me go… Little Uncle.”
Su Qiaoxu thinks that in this lifetime, he’ll probably never learn how to sleep alone, apart from Qiao Yici.
*
Qiao Yici was adopted by the Qiao family at ten. His adoptive parents were away most of the time, and only his older sister, Qiao Yiran, gave him any warmth.
Two years later, his sister married and moved abroad, where she gave birth to Su Qiaoxu. For twelve years, he saw his nephew only once, at the baby’s one-month celebration.
After that, his sister and brother-in-law were killed in a car crash, a scheme orchestrated by their rivals. He brought his young nephew back from abroad. The tiny rice-ball who used to curl up in his sister’s arms had become lonely and sensitive, constantly afraid of being abandoned.
Qiao Yici had planned to keep him by his side and raise him right, but somehow Su Qiaoxu grew more and more accustomed to having him around.
He wanted his little uncle to take him to school, feed him, and even stay with him while he slept.
At last, after Su Qiaoxu got into university, Qiao Yici resolved to put an end to their increasingly improper relationship.
But when his little uncle pushed him away, Su Qiaoxu clung to the wide-open window of the villa in nothing but his pajamas, eyes red. “Does Little Uncle really not want me anymore? Then what’s the point of me even being here?”
Remembering all the ways Su Qiaoxu had hurt himself after his sister and brother-in-law died,
Qiao Yici’s expression hardened, and he pulled him back into bed, heart aching.
Forget it. Since they’d already crossed the line, they might as well keep going.

After successfully sneaking into his uncle’s bed several times, Su Qiaoxu briefly moved into the dorms and stayed away for two weeks.
But when he came home after military training, he suddenly realized that the little uncle he’d just coaxed into letting him close seemed to have changed his mind again.
In bed, Qiao Yici lay on the side by the window and turned his back to Su Qiaoxu.
“If Little Uncle doesn’t want to sleep with me, I can ask the campus heartthrob to keep me company instead. I hear he’s an athlete. I saw him from a distance during military training, and he’s exactly my type, looks and figure included.”
Qiao Yici shook with anger, wrapped his arms around Su Qiaoxu, and punished him over and over.
“Su Qiaoxu, when I’m not around, you’re only allowed to sleep alone.”
Su Qiaoxu was soon exhausted and kept begging for mercy. “All right, ngh, all right. I know I was wrong, Little Uncle.”
“Say it again. What do you like?”
“I like Little Uncle. I like him best.”
One-on-one, both are inexperienced, extremely sweet and doting! Thank you all for your support and love!
The next novel will be "A Scumbag, But a Medical Master" 💛
[Spoiled, soft-hearted shou who pursues his gong] × [Quiet, devoted, cold-faced gong]
One morning, Qi Munian, a doctor at a prestigious hospital, wakes up to find he has transmigrated into a book, into the body of another Qi Munian, a spoiled troublemaker with the same name.
In the novel, Qi Munian is greedy for Gu Huaichu’s money. He has been married to him for six years and has even adopted a son with him.
According to the book, from the day Qi Munian married Gu Huaichu, he never once treated him kindly. He kept a lover on the side with Gu Huaichu’s money and emotionally neglected their adopted son as well. In the end, Qi Munian brought about his own downfall, and his lover tricked him into falling off a cliff to his death.
Now that he’s here, Qi Munian decides to change everything, starting by caring for his husband and son. He’ll also deal with his fake-sweet best friend and his scummy lover.
Through a series of lucky coincidences, Qi Munian uses the medical knowledge he acquired before transmigrating into the book to save several powerful figures in Jing City. He doesn’t notice Gu Huaichu’s gaze gradually changing.

One night, Gu Huaichu, who never touches alcohol, staggers into his room and pins him to the bed, crying as he calls him by the nickname he had before transmigrating into the book.
“A-Nian, did you really come back?”
Gu Huaichu has a severe emotional disorder. Eight years ago, he deliberately caused an accident, only to be rescued by a boy with an innocent, charming face and superb medical skills.
After finding out who the boy was, he devised a little scheme.
The boy took the bait. Looking at the friend request on his phone, Gu Huaichu smiled. “So his name is Qi Munian.”
Later, Qi Munian asked him for money, a car, and a house.
He agreed to everything, then had it all delivered to Qi Munian’s home. People said Qi Munian was with him purely for his money.
Gu Huaichu didn’t care. “Let him be. I have more money than I know what to do with.”
But after going to all that trouble to trick him into marrying him, why had Qi Munian changed after only a month? He no longer wanted to cling to Gu Huaichu, and he’d even forgotten the medical knowledge he’d once loved studying.
Gu Huaichu refused to believe it, but one test after another finally made him give up hope.
Then, six years into their marriage, on a bright, sunny day just like the day they first met,
Gu Huaichu was rescued once more by that boy, in the same familiar place.
Qi Munian’s eyes held a playful glint. He called for help with practiced ease, the corner of his mouth tightening as he deliberately softened his tone. “Even if you can’t have my love, you don’t have to do anything desperate. Gu Huaichu, is that really the best you can do?”
He froze, staring without blinking at the boy in front of him, whose eyes curved into a smile.
His thoughts returned to the sunny day eight years ago.
“It’s not that big a deal. Why do you have to do something desperate? Hey, you in those fancy clothes, is that really the best you can do?”
Before losing consciousness, Gu Huaichu thought how desperately he wished the person saving him now was A-Nian, the one he had always loved.
One-on-one, sweet and doting!
A simple little sweet romance. Thank you all for your support and love!
