He even holds Xiao Jifei all night during a storm because he's afraid of the thunder.

(Though Xiao Jifei doesn't know why he woke up the next day with swollen lips and feeling exhausted.)

At first, Xiao Jifei can just about keep himself from falling for his coach. But eventually, the coach's gentleness and thoughtfulness leave him completely smitten.

Though he is always the one getting bullied by his coach, at least his lips and teeth are sharp enough to make the coach behave himself at certain moments.

But one day, the normally good-tempered coach suddenly loses his temper.

When a mutual friend asks Xiao Jifei about the reason, he covers his backside and smiles, pressing his lips together.

“It's nothing. Maybe I just got a little carried away and bit him last night.”

The red velvet mousse cake is sweet, soft, and delicious. At certain times, namely on stormy nights, it activates a skill that makes him obedient and compliant, with no memory afterward.

The coach feels sorry for the little cake and hires a private team to help treat him.

On a stormy night, Daddy, unaware that the little cake has recovered, wants to taste him and bully his baby just like before.

To his surprise, the little cake's previously dazed eyes suddenly regain their sparkle.

“Hey, Beibei, so this is why I wake up exhausted after every stormy night!”

The little cake bursts into tears. “Waaah, you said you'd treat me well!!!”

Daddy gently pulls the cake into his arms. “Sorry, honey. I'll make it up to you properly tonight.”

“Uncle, I was wrong. Let me go... Uncle.”

Su Qiaoxu thinks he'll probably never learn to sleep alone without Qiao Yici for the rest of his life.
