After Getting Knocked Flying, I Turned into My Archrival's Beagle

Quirky, Delicate Beauty Bottom x Old-Fashioned Daddy with Big Pecs Top / Childhood Friends / Top Has a Secret Crush

On his way to confront his nemesis, Cheng Yanzhi, Shen Sui was hit by a truck and sent flying. When he woke up, he discovered he had turned into a little beagle.

Worse still, the usually cold Cheng Yanzhi had inexplicably adopted him.

Shen Sui ground his teeth. He was going to thank Cheng Yanzhi profusely for adopting him!

With a grin, Shen Sui began living with Cheng Yanzhi so he could repay his kindness.

Every night, he put on a high-energy dance show for his master, helping him fall asleep to music.

When his master was working, he did his best to wreck the place and keep him motivated to earn money.

When his master came home, he gave him a welcome gift: tassel-trimmed slippers and pajamas, or a fresh cockroach.

His hard work paid off.

But not quite in the way Shen Sui had expected.

Cheng Yanzhi didn’t send him away. Instead, he treated him even better. He would often look at him with a soulful gaze that gave any dog goosebumps, as if seeing someone else through him.

Shen Sui swept his tail across Cheng Yanzhi’s eight-pack abs and eyed him suspiciously. Could Cheng Yanzhi... be a masochist?

Then he’d have to work even harder. ︿(￣︶￣)︿

Until one morning, while he was standing on Cheng Yanzhi and doing a mighty kneading dance, he suddenly popped back into human form.

He was lying stark naked on top of Cheng Yanzhi, meeting those deep, unfathomable eyes.

The air froze for a full three seconds.

Shen Sui struck first, slapping Cheng Yanzhi on the chest. “What are you looking at, idiot? I’ve been sending you signals every day! ‘Mwah, mwah!’ How did you not get it?”

Cheng Yanzhi narrowed his eyes slightly, lowered his gaze, then raised his hand and returned the greeting.

During the seven years after Shen Sui’s accident, Cheng Yanzhi’s world was nothing but endless work.

Until a little beagle came bounding into his life.

The little guy had ridiculously short legs and stubbornly craned his neck to look up at him with beady eyes. He looked just like Cheng Yanzhi, who, on a whim, took him in.

Later, the person he had longed for day and night fell from the sky and landed in his arms.

Cheng Yanzhi thought that whether this was a dream or not, he would never let go again.

[Bonus Scene]

One day after he had turned back into a human.

Shen Sui rested his head on Cheng Yanzhi’s lap and tickled the man’s chin with a piece of foxtail grass. “Cheng Yanzhi, how come you’ve had a crush on me for so long? Did you just want me for my looks? How shallow!”

The man glanced at him. “Why do you hate me?”

Shen Sui: “Yanzhi sounds like ‘dislike.’ I was born to hate you!”

The man chuckled. “Then why do you like me now?”

Shen Sui blushed and looked away. “Yanzhi sounds like ‘swallow.’ You’re just so good at eating.”

The man held his ankle against his abs, his eyes innocent and frank. “Baby, I’m hungry again.”
