The Sweet-Talking Movie Star Is Scheming Against Me Again Today

[Tea-type scheming, jealous top-tier star vs. pure, naturally airheaded bar owner]

Top-tier star Lu Ciyuan presents himself to the public as a perfect gentleman, humble and kind to everyone. The wounds left by his family make him sensitive and insecure inside, with a possessiveness bordering on obsession.

One night, while seeking refuge from the noise, Lu Ciyuan walks into Shi Qianyu's cozy little bar. At first sight, he falls for her quiet, gentle presence and secretly resolves to keep her by his side.

Lu Ciyuan conceals his celebrity identity and pretends to be an ordinary man down on his luck, carefully setting one trap after another.

When he sees a male customer hitting on her, Lu Ciyuan lowers his eyes and softly feigns hurt. "You're so nice to everyone. It makes me sad."

With just a few words, he subtly keeps the others at bay. Kindhearted and guileless, Shi Qianyu thinks he's simply soft-hearted and makes allowances for him at every turn.

A candid photo unexpectedly exposes Lu Ciyuan's identity, and the entire internet erupts. He drops the pretense, takes her hand in front of everyone, and declares her his, his eyes brimming with undisguised obsession.

Shi Qianyu realizes that everything in the past was part of a carefully laid trap. She panics and tries to avoid him, yet day after day of his company makes her fall for him.

Shi Qianyu reaches out to Lu Ciyuan when she sees how low he feels. "You don't have to keep pretending to be perfect. I can accept all your insecurities."

They drop their masks and heal each other. Lu Ciyuan abandons his schemes and honestly confesses his love, while Shi Qianyu's tenderness soothes his long years of loneliness. Together, they find a sweet, healing romance full of contrasts.
