My Father, Grand Secretary Zhang Juzheng (Ming Dynasty Transmigration)

Gu Yuan was a modern civil servant.

While trying to save people’s lives and property, he accidentally transmigrated.

A crowd of servants dressed in ancient-style clothes surrounded him,

accusing him of “trespassing in the prime minister’s residence.”

As it happened, the master of the residence was ill.

With several boxes of medicine on hand, Gu Yuan had the bright idea to pose as a fortune-teller.

After asking a few more questions,

he learned it was the ninth year of the Wanli era of the Ming dynasty,

and that the man was Zhang Juzheng.

A survivor of the Great Escape from the Jiajing era, a target of attacks during the Tan Yangzi incident,

and a man with a serious case of fortune-teller PTSD.

With no other choice, Gu Yuan switched to Plan B,

and gave his fortune-teller persona a power-up.

When he met Zhang Juzheng,

he threw himself at his feet and wailed:

“Father, I’m your eldest son, the one who died young!”

Zhang Juzheng: ???

Gu Yuan: “The immortals rescued me and taught me their arts. Now I’ve brought an elixir to cure you!”

Zhang Juzheng: ???
