Global Survival: Fear of Running Out of Supplies

When the great cataclysm struck, Blue Star struggled for 50 years. Xia Shiye went from an 18-year-old girl in the bloom of youth to a 68-year-old with her youth long gone, waiting alongside Blue Star for... the night the comet came.

Perhaps some people had escaped early aboard arks, but Xia Shiye had neither the family background, talent, nor money for that. So she faced life and death together with Blue Star.

When she opened her eyes again, she heard, "Welcome to the global survival game!"

From then on, the rest of her life would be bound to the island before her... the fishing boats... the rafts!

What do you mean the island is unclaimed, but you have to verify your bloodline before it opens?

What do you mean fishing boats belong to fishermen, but you have to verify your faction first... Oh, people like us "savages from outer space" can get certified for free, too? Well, that's fine, then. I'm joining the Chaos Sea Safety Committee family!

A seven-day beginner protection period, a 30-day transition period for the initial disaster (50-degree heat), a 45-day intermediate disaster (category 18 typhoon), a 90-day advanced disaster (extreme cold), a 120-day final disaster (polar night)...

The game System kept announcing the number of survivors in the Chaos Sea: one hundred thousand, seventy thousand, sixty thousand, fifty-five thousand, forty thousand...

The further things went, the more elite the players became, but even elite players could die.

Fortunately, every time, Xia Shiye prepared carefully, responded proactively, and fought to survive, just as she had told herself every day during those fifty years on Blue Star: If I could start over, I would make the most thorough preparations!

Theme: Hard work leads to prosperity.
