After My Confession to My Cousin Furuya Failed, Matsuda and I Got Together

My name is Saionji Kanon. I’ve loved my cousin, Rei Furuya, ever since I was little, and my dream is to become his bride someday. After my brother got into the police academy, I met some of his friends from the same class. One of them is an awful, curly-haired jerk who bullies me all the time!

After my final confession to my cousin was rejected with the excuse that “my lover is the country,” I dragged Matsuda and Hagiwara out drinking and bawled my eyes out. That very night, Matsuda and I ended up in bed together. Then the jerk insisted I take responsibility for him, so we started dating.

Please note:

Told from the heroine’s first-person perspective. She and Matsuda are a bickering couple.

She likes Rei at first, but gets together with Matsuda later.

She is a distant relative of Rei’s, with a real blood connection.
