The Hong Kong Bodyguard of the 1980s

Four years ago, Lu Shen was the target of an assassination attempt. His fiancée died taking a bullet for him.

Their marriage had been nothing more than an arrangement made by their parents, but after her death, she became an indelible cinnabar mark in his heart.

His new bodyguard, Tang Lin, looked uncannily like her, but Lu Shen felt nothing but disgust for her.

Tang Lin's roughness and strength only made him miss his fiancée's gentleness and obedience even more.

Until one day, he saw the little boy holding Tang Lin's hand. The child looked exactly like Lu Shen had as a boy.

A few days later, at Tang Lin's residence, Lu Shen held his son in his arms and clutched a DNA test report. His eyes were bloodshot.

"So your love and obedience four years ago were just part of the mission?"

How much must she have hated him to fake her death and escape rather than marry him?

Four years ago, Tang Lin received a mission to pose as Lu Shen's fiancée. Lu Shen was the richest man in Xiangjiang.

Only when the mission ended did she learn she was a character in a book.

Her son was destined to become a genius little devil who would fight his own father to the death.

To change her son's fate, she chose to disappear under an assumed name.

A new mission forced her to return to the Lu family four years later, under a new name and identity.

But weren't father and son supposed to hate each other and fight to the death? Why did they hit it off at first sight and become so close?

Lu Shen: We're father and son for real!

Theme: Love your country and your family.
