[Honkai: Star Rail] A Flower for the Long Day

As a prospective sage of the School of Red Clay, Su Zhi held fairly high standing in the Grove.

So when Aglaea asked him, he helped two new students complete their enrollment.

The first student was adorable. The smiling girl was gentle and lively, and speaking with her felt like a spring breeze. Su Zhi recommended several courses from the School of Worship to help her become a priest as soon as possible.

The second student was adorable too. The boy was green and impulsive, yet deeply respectful of his teachers, so Su Zhi recommended several seniors from the School of Stone-lifting to help him hone his swordsmanship.

Finally, he also recommended that both students sit in on a class from the School of Wisdom Seeds. Though he'd just had a huge argument with Anaxa, that didn't stop him from appreciating Anaxa's command of language and experimental thinking.

The immediate result was that the boy named Bai E joined the School of Wisdom Seeds.

Su Zhi wasn't surprised. People who had attended Anaxa's classes usually had only two choices: either they kept their distance because of his shocking remarks, or they were drawn in by the genius's unprecedented, extraordinary way of thinking.

With matters come to this, Su Zhi could only sigh and pray that the boy wouldn't catch Anaxa's cynicism and contempt for the world, and throw away the virtue of politeness.

But the next day, he saw the boy in his history class.

Not only that, he also showed up in the cultural relic appreciation class and the painting analysis class.

Perplexed, Su Zhi asked him, "Why are you taking my art classes instead of focusing on alchemy?"

Bai E: "Teacher! I truly love art! I want to learn how to appraise antiques!"

Su Zhi: "..."

Su Zhi: "Change out of those yellow pants and purple shirt first."

He'd been holding that in for ages.

Pairing: Bai E

I'll try not to make anyone OOC. I feel so bad for Weng Xing's friends and want to make things less painful for them. But I really agree with something Alhaitham said: personality determines fate. Some people don't need saving; they willingly leap into the flames.

Theme: Stand by your own choices.
