Beneath the Rose Wall

When he was five, Louis met Francesca in the garden of the Grand Palace. She was the sunlight that brightened his life, and he thought that one day he would marry her. Fifteen years later, he finally did, but she was no longer the way she used to be. Obsession, hatred, depression, madness: all kinds of tangled emotions bound them to their memories and their reality. She rejected all love and beauty, and no longer believed she could ever find happiness, but he still wanted to get closer to her.

Once again, it's a signature Two Qin-style story of mad, twisted love, where the lovers are willing to live or die for each other. A single mother with a child, a mad alcoholic in the late stages of depression, and a blond-haired, white-skinned beauty x a devout, god-bothering, radiant, love-struck man in the late stages of lovesickness, with a rebirth plot and a past-life-and-present-life setting. The male lead is Louis I, and the female lead is Aleya's daughter. Her biological father will remain a secret for now. Happy ending.
