I Absolutely Mustn't Let Okkotsu-Kun Find Out I'm a Curse User

On the surface, Akiyama Eina is an ordinary honor student. In reality, she's a curse user.

Don't ask why a curse user has to keep up the image of a perfect girl in public. It's cooler that way.

There's a timid boy in her class who often gets bullied. Akiyama Eina has absolutely no interest in him, but for the sake of her honor-student image, she still goes over to talk to him...

And sees the terrifying special-grade cursed spirit beside Okkotsu.

Oh no, oh no, oh no! Is this guy actually a big shot pretending to be weak? The type who enjoys getting bullied so he can take dark revenge later?!

If she exposes Okkotsu's secret, is she doomed?

How can there be someone at this school who's even better at pretending than she is!

So when Okkotsu asks if she's seen anything strange, Akiyama Eina says, "Actually, I'm an atheist, Okkotsu. I hate curses and ghost stories."

Anyway, she absolutely cannot let Okkotsu find out she's a curse user!

Akiyama Eina, the girl in his class, shines like a jewel, and everyone naturally loves her.

He's such a dark, gloomy presence. Just being in the same room as Eina makes him feel as if butterflies are impossibly fluttering out of his stomach.

Then one day, moonlight fell upon him.

Eina is kind to everyone.

If only she'd look at him alone...

There's just one thing: she hates things like ghost stories.

"That stuff is all fake, right?"

"Who would actually believe in curses and legends?"

"Okkotsu, stop saying weird things. I really can't see anything."

The beautiful, gentle Akiyama Eina looks utterly disgusted whenever curses are mentioned.

Okkotsu doesn't want her to look at him that way.

So he absolutely can't let Eina find out he's a jujutsu sorcerer!

Reader's guide:

[1] Okkotsu is the love interest. Eina is a total poser. Okkotsu will be a little possessive, but I won't make him too creepy. That's not really my thing. At heart, this is a sweet story about two kids acting out their feelings for each other.
