Quick-witted, adorable working girl x refined, twisted, scheming professor

Ai Xinqing works at Granny Liao's tofu pudding shop to make ends meet.

A strange man suddenly suffers from low blood sugar and faints into her arms?!

When she gets a good look at his face... Oh my, he's so handsome her heart skips a beat.

The man asks where she goes to school.

Ai Xinqing isn't much of a student, and she has actually quit school, but when you're out and about, you can choose your own identity.

Blushing, she says, "...The nearby University of Chicago."

Little does she know that the refined, handsome man standing before her is a professor in the university's science school.

The third time they meet.

The man smiles. "I'm Fang Shuyu. Here's my number. Call me if you need anything."

Ai Xinqing blushes. "Then can I pursue you?"

Fang Shuyu never expected he would one day fall for a young woman.

He fixes his eyes on her and swallows. "Give it a try."

One day, Ai Xinqing learns from her cousin that...

Fang Shuyu is the renowned professor at Zhizhou University, having earned many honors at a young age. He's an untouchable flower on a high peak.

She guiltily tries to run away.

Fang Shuyu: "Xinqing, apply to be my graduate student."

Ai Xinqing is so embarrassed she breaks out in a cold sweat. I can't get in... I shouldn't have bragged back then!

She kneels on the bed and honestly apologizes. "Professor Fang, I lied. I'm not actually at the University of Chicago. I only paid to get a college diploma, and I'm not very good at studying."

"Not good at it?" Fang Shuyu narrows his eyes and idly twirls the ends of her hair. "Xinqing, you're very good at studying me."
