[Good-for-Nothing Airheaded Junior Sister VS Sharp-Tongued Evil Spirit Bigshot]
On the very first day of Tu Xiling's transmigration, she was bound hand and foot and tossed into a monster's cave. She knew neither spells nor martial arts, had no way to call for help, and was about to become a monster's dinner.
As she teetered on the brink of death, a cold, sinister male voice rang in her ear:
"Idiot, if you don't want to die, do exactly what I say."
To stay alive, Tu Xiling could only make a blood pact with this "lonely ghost," who didn't even have a body, binding herself to him for good.
But the moment the pact was sealed, the cave collapsed with a crash. She tried to escape in the confusion, but her body refused to obey her. Then a cold laugh drifted from within her:
"My blood puppet, where do you think you're going?"
The ghost was named Lan Kezhi. He was sharp-tongued, ruthless, and terrible-tempered. He forced her to slay demons, hunt for treasure, and learn magic, while demanding she serve him like an ancestor. That was because he needed her help to recover the pieces of his true body scattered across the land.
Tu Xiling called him a mean-spirited bastard in her heart, but gradually realized that every skill he taught her happened to suit her talents perfectly. The first time she used his teachings to draw a spirit body, the ghost, unusually, didn't mock her. He only gave a very soft hum.
Hearing the faint lift at the end of his note, Tu Xiling couldn't help thinking:
Maybe... he's not that bad after all.
Until one day, she opened a door and saw a beautiful young man sitting inside, cool and aloof, untouched by worldly dust.
Her first reaction was, "Sorry, wrong room."
Just as she turned to leave, a familiar voice sounded behind her: "Get back here."
Tu Xiling froze on the spot.
Who would have thought that the bastard who'd been exploiting her had the face of an immortal so beautiful it could topple kingdoms? All the curses in her mind immediately vanished down her throat, and her heart skipped a beat.
The young man lowered his eyes at her dazed expression and, as usual, called her an idiot.
But this time, she thought she detected something else in his insult.
Tu Xiling once thought that when he used her to return to the peak of his power and receive the worship of all spirits, she could leave without regret. But the next moment, his hand clamped tightly around her throat.
After all their time together, she still hadn't managed to warm the heart of this "evil ghost."
"Using you and tossing you aside. Isn't that just what you wanted?"
The man had returned to his original form, repeating words she'd once said in anger. His long, narrow peach-blossom eyes had lost their wicked gleam as he looked down at her, his expression so indifferent it was almost empty.
He was choking the breath out of her, but she still forced two words through her teeth:
"...Bastard!"
Lan Kezhi, who had always been decisive and merciless, suddenly stopped.
After a long pause, he clicked his tongue in irritation.
