The CEO Breaks His Promise After Marriage

Everyone said Qin Yuanshuo was an icy, chaste man, cold and heartless, and never interested in romance. Wen Li believed it too.

Yet Wen Li and Qin Yuanshuo ended up in an arranged marriage, bound by a contract. After the wedding, she stuck to their agreement and deliberately kept her distance. They treated each other with polite reserve, both regarding the marriage as nothing more than a business deal and waiting for it to expire.

As the end of their marriage approached, Wen Li spoke up first. "Mr. Qin, our contract is nearly up. When can you make time to file for divorce?"

Qin Yuanshuo, who had always been decisive and never dragged his feet, looked up calmly. "I'm busy with work at the moment. We'll have to put it off for now."

A few days later, Wen Li asked again. Qin Yuanshuo put her off as before. "I have to travel for work soon, so I don't have time right now."

She asked again and again, and he kept delaying.

Wen Li was too embarrassed to ask anymore, so she decided to wait for Qin Yuanshuo to bring up the divorce himself. But she waited and waited, and after a long time, Qin Yuanshuo seemed to have forgotten that they were supposed to get divorced...

One-on-one romance, sweet story.
